Glad We Met Was developed by Kiss Web Apps in April 2009. Since then the site has become one of the fastest growing dating sites on the internet!! Powered by Tamedo.com Glad We Met is a Vyce Versa Ltd Company Registered in England and Wales under Company number 06696201.
So what's the story? It was decided by our company that there had to be a much more fun way to meet people on the internet. Of course there is a plethora of dating website out there (none of which we care to mention) but are they fun to use?
We decided to create a website where users have the chance to vote for who they would like to meet instead of simply browsing and trying their luck!! This would act as a good "ice breaker" and is also quite a nice gesture for the recipient of the vote. We also opted for a simplistic design for "newbies" as this would hopefully enhance the experience of trying to meet someone special.
We are not trying to be something we are not, and we are not the new the aim of this site is to give our members a chance to meet people they fancy becoming friends or even lovers with. All new members are approved by our staff to ensure that they are genuine - only genuine like minded people are allowed to become members of our website and all members are over the age of 18. We hope as responsible adults we can make this website a huge success and have lots of fun meeting each other!
